This folder is a placeholder

This is where your results-export program should place its generated files for this competition — its own index.html plus one page per category. When you drop the exported folder here (keeping the folder name matching the event's id in its JSON file), this placeholder gets overwritten and the event's "Results" tab will link straight to it.
